Summary

A series of trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 running roughly north-south across heathland on the southern edge of Matcham's Park. The features are considered likely to be of post medieval or early 20th century date; they are now under scrubby woodland and no longer visible. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

A series of trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 running roughly north-south across heathland on the southern edge of Matcham's Park (1). The features are considered likely to be of post medieval or early 20th century date; they are now under scrubby woodland and no longer visible, no accessment could therefore be made as to the current condition of the monument (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
