Summary

A series of trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 and 1946 running roughly west-east across heathland to the east of what is now Oakdene Holiday Park. The features are considered likely to be of post medieval or early 20th century date; they now lie under modern plantation. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.

Full Description

A series of trackways are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1945 and 1946 running roughly west-east across heathland to the east of what is now Oakdene Holiday Park (1-2). The features are considered likely to be of post medieval or early 20th century date. They now lie under modern plantation and are no longer visible, no accessment could therefore be made as to the current condition of the monument (3). The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP.
