Summary

‘The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of the 17th century and of two storeys; the walls are of rubble and the roofs are thatched or covered with modern materials. Some of the buildings have exposed ceiling-beams and original fireplaces. … (23) Cottage, immediately N. of W. Milton old churchyard, retains a number of original stone-mullioned windows, one of them with four-centred heads to the lights.’
