An historic banked field boundary to the south of Higher Brimley Coombe Farm, Stoke Abbott, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1970s (1). The boundary is considered to be of probable post medieval origin, although an earlier date is possible. The site is not visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
