Summary

An historic ditched field boundary to the southeast of Brimley Farm, Stoke Abbott, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s. The boundary is considered to be post medieval in origin, although an earlier date is also possible. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

An historic ditched field boundary to the southeast of Brimley Farm, Stoke Abbott, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). The boundary is considered to be post medieval in origin, although an earlier date is also possible. The site remains visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
