Full Description
What appears to be a banked and ditched linear feature on the south side of Waddon Hill, Stoke Abbott, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). This is considered to represent a possible historic field boundary, although it may alternatively be natural in origin. The site is not visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2) as it is under tree cover. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
