Summary
Parallel linear scarps on the southeast slopes of Waddon Hill, Stoke Abbott, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s. These are considered to represent medieval strip lynchets. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Parallel linear scarps on the southeast slopes of Waddon Hill, Stoke Abbott, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). These are considered to represent medieval strip lynchets. The lynchets are still visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
