Summary

A long linear scarp runs for over 160m to the north of Synderford sewage works. It forms the western side of a coppice of trees and is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery. The feature is potentially the result of post medieval extraction although a natural origin is possible. The feature was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
