Two post medieval extractive pits to the southeast of Stoke Knapp Farm, Stoke Abbott, are visible as earthworks areound 65m and 35m long on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). They are still visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
