Full Description
A series of curvilinear earthworks to the southwest of Stoke Knapp Farm, Stoke Abbott, are visible on aerial photographs of the 1970s (1). These appear to be cut by a post medieval trackway (MDO39025) and may represent medieval strip lynchets, although a natural or agricultural origin is also possible. The earthworks are still visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
