Full Description
Several units of narrow ridge and furrow to the northwest of Folly Cottage, Broadwindsor, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). The narrow 4m width indicates a probable post medieval origin although it may also be the result of late 19th to early 20th century steam ploughing. The site is under pasture on the latest Google Earth imagery (2) and no longer visible. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
