Full Description
Two parallel linear ditches to the north of Spring House, Broadwindsor, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). The ditches are very straight an rectilinear in form and run counter to the contour line. They may represent historic field boundaries of medieval or post medieval origin or alternatively could be post medieval drainage ditches. The site is no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
