Monument record MDO38951 - Historic field boundary, Higher Park Farm, Broadwindsor

An historic ditched field boundary is visible as an earthwork to the southwest of Higher Park Farm, Broadwindsor, on aerial photographs of the 1940s. Its form suggests a probable post medieval origin, although an earlier date is possible. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

An historic ditched field boundary is visible as an earthwork to the southwest of Higher Park Farm, Broadwindsor, on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). Its form suggests a probable post medieval origin, although an earlier date is possible. It contains apossible unit of post medieval narrow ridge and furrow (MDO38952) to the south. The site is no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
