Summary

Banked features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south east of Knapp Bridge, Wootton Fitzpaine. They are considered to be field boundaries of medieval or later date and were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

Banked linear features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south east of Knapp Bridge, Wootton Fitzpaine (1). They are considered to be of medieval or later field boundaries were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale. They have since been levelled and are no longer visible on Google Earth imagery (2).
