A linear scarp is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1948 running northwestward for 200m. It is now under trees of Champernhayes New Plantation. The feature may be natural or an historic lynchet. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

A linear scarp is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in 1948 running northwestward for 200m (1). The feature may be natural or an historic lynchet. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. It is now under trees of Champernhayes New Plantation and is no longer visible on more recent Google Earth imagery (2).
