Summary

A series of parallel ditched field boundaries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the east of Little Coombe Farm. They are considered likely to be of post medieval date although an earlier medieval date is possible. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

A series of parallel ditched field boundaries are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the east of Little Coombe Farm (1). They are considered likely to be of post medieval date although an earlier medieval date is possible. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP, it is no longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery (2).
