Full Description
A series of linear scarps or terraces are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south of Little Coombe Farm (1-2). They are potentially the result of post medieval quarrying but may be cultivation terraces or even of natural origin. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The features are still visible as slight earthworks on recent Google Earth imagery (3).
