Full Description
A linear scarp is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south of Sheepwash Farm (1). It is 88m long and runs roughly east-west cutting off a bend in the lane where Norman's Cottage is marked on the OS 1st edition map. The feature may be a man-made lynchet or of natural origin. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP and is still extant on Google Earth imagery (2).
