Summary

Two post medieval extractive pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south west of Northay Farm adjacent to Abbott's Wootton Lane. The features are between 18m and 30m across and are no longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Two post medieval extractive pits are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south west of Northay Farm adjacent to Abbott's Wootton Lane (1).
