Full Description
A hollow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Higher Park Farm. It is 26m across and marked as a solid feature on the OS 1st edition map (2). The feature is considered likely to be an extractive pit or dewpond of post medieval origin. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The site has been plough-levelled and is not visible on lidar imagery (3).
