Full Description
A series of ditched medieval strip field boundaries to the south of Lower Sandpit Farm are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1) and (2). The boundaries are located within the long curving enclosures of former medieval strip fields and align with these. The boundaries are no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (3). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
