Full Description
A hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery under trees to the south of Higher Park Farm (1). It is 40m across and straddles a modern field boundary. It is marked as a solid feature on the OS 1st edition map (2)and is considered likely to be an extractive pit or dewpond of post medieval origin. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
