Summary
An Old Quarry is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the north east of Higher Spence Farm. Low earthworks associated with the site are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1948. Faint traces are still visible on lidar imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
An Old Quarry is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the north east of Higher Spence Farm. Low earthworks associated with the site are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1948 (1). Faint traces are still visible on lidar imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
