Monument record MDO38634 - Historic field boundaries or drainage ditches, Northwood, Wootton Fitzpaine

Perpendicular ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 crossing an area of rough ground to the north of Northwood. The features are considered to be of historic origin, possibly post medieval drainage features or earlier field boundaries. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Perpendicular ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 crossing an area of rough ground to the north of Northwood (1). The features are considered to be of historic origin, possibly post medieval drainage features or earlier field boundaries. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP, they have since been levelled and are no longer visible on more recent Google Earth imagery (2).
