Full Description
A small post medieval extractive pit to the south of Childhay is visible as an earthwork about 31m long on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s (1) and on a Lidar survey of 2010 (2). The site is also visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (3). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
