Full Description
Parallel linear features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the south of Northwood (1). They are possibly the remains of a medieval strip field system although they may alternatively be of natural origin. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP, they have since been levelled but are still faintly visible on more recent Google Earth imagery (2).
