Two post medieval extractive pits, each around 40m in length, and an associated trackway to the east of Hurst Farm are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s (1) and on a Lidar survey of 2010 (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
