Full Description

An historic ditched field boundary to the east of the Temple Brook, east of Hurst Farm, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s (1). The rectilinear form of the boundary suggests a probable post medieval origin, although an earlier date is possible. The site is still faintly visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
