Monument record MDO38609 - Post medieval orchard, Stubb's Farm, Wootton Fitzpaine

Two areas of parallel cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the north and south of Stubb's Farm. They are on parcels of land marked as orchards on the OS 1st edition map. The parallel features are considered to be post medieval plantation ridges associated with the removed orchards. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The features are still partially visible as earthworks on recent Google Earrth imagery (2).
