Full Description
A unit of narrow cultivation ridges to the southeast of Hurst Farm, Broadwindsor, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1) and 1970s (2). The cultivation marks are contained within an enclosure of probable medieval origin but with some post medieval modification on its west side. The narrow form of the ridges suggest possible post medieval narrow ridge and furrow. The site is not visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (3). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
