Summary

Historic cultivation marks to the south of Temple Brook Farm are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

Three units of historic cultivation marks to the south of Temple Brook Farm are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). The easternmost of these shows clear parallel ridges around 4m apart, suggsting probable post medieval narrow ridge and furrow. The westernmost units are less distinct. The cultivation marks are no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
