Summary

A bridge carrying the road from Gillingham to East Stour across the river Lodden. It consists of two arches with a cut-water on the east side, and is built of ashlar. A stone above the cutwater is inscribed 'R.P. 1801'.

'(8) MADJESTON BRIDGE (80992536), carrying the road from Gillingham to East Stour across the R. Lodden, is similar to (3). A stone above the cutwater on the E. side is inscribed 'R.P.1801'.'
