Full Description
A rectilinear field boundary to the north of Swilletts Farm is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). This is not shown on the OS First Edition historic mapping but its regular form suggests a possible post medieval origin, although an earlier date is possible. The site is still visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
