Full Description
A series of undated banked and ditched field boundaries and possible drainage ditches to the southeast of Higher Newnham Farm are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1) and (2). Their straight linear form suggest a predominantly post medieval origin and may incorporate some post medieval or modern drainage ditches. The boundaries are still visible on vertical aerial photographs taken in 2009 (3) and on the latest Google Earth imagery (4). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
