Full Description
An area of post medieval extraction around 135m long is visible as an earthwork to the northwest of Pilsdon Pen on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). The site is still visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (2), now within an area of scrub and woodland. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
