Full Description
An undated banked field boundary is visible as an earthwork to the west of Specket Cottage on aerial photographs of the 1940s (1). It is not shown on the OS First Edition historic mapping but its straight linear form suggests a probable post medieval or later date. The site is clearly visible on aerial photographs of the 1970s (2) and still faintly visible on the latest Google Earth imagery (3). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
