Summary

Two ditched field boundaries to the southwest of Laverstock Farm are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. The boundaries are not shown on the OS First Edition historic mapping and their straight linear form suggest a probable post medieval date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

Two ditched field boundaries to the southwest of Laverstock Farm are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s (1). The boundares are not shown on the OS First Edition historic mapping andtheir straight linear form suggest a probable post medieval date.The boundaries are no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
