Full Description
Undated field boundaries to the east of Revelshay Farm are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s (1). The boundaries have a slightly curving morphology and appear to form part of a field system of medieval origin, suggesting these boundaries may be contemporary in date. The narrow distance between the boundaries indicate a possible series of medieval strip field boundaries. The boundaries are no longer visible on the latest Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
