Summary

Site of brick, pipe and tile works, 1830-1939. An original Suffolk-type kiln was later replaced by a Scotch updraft kiln, the ruins of which were extant in 1974.

Site of brick, pipe and tile works, extant from 1830-1939. One small updraught Suffolk-type kiln was in use, replaced by a Scotch updraught kiln, the ruins of which still existed in 1974.
