Full Description
A small hollow, 35m across, is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery immediately to the south of the A35 to the east of Bellair (1). The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. It is marked as an Old Gravel Pit on the OS 1st edition map (2) and is considered likely to be the site of a post medieval extractive pit.
