Full Description
A hollow, 30m across, is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the east of Catherston Coppice (1). It is surrounded by a slightly raised bank and is located on the line of a field boundary marked on the OS 1st edition map. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP and is considered likely to be the site of a post medieval or early 20th century extractive pit.
