Full Description
Parallel cultivation marks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948, in a field to the west of the River Simene east of Ebb Plantation (1). The area of ridging is defined by a ditched field boundary. The features are considered to be the remains of medieval or later ridge and furrow cultivation or drainage. The features have since been levelled and are no longer visible on the latest Google earth imagery; they were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
