Summary

A subcircular ditched feature is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs close to the brow of the hill southwest of Park Coppice. The feature is 44m across and potentially the site of a prehistoric ring ditch; it is perhaps more likely however to be a modern agricultural mark. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

A subcircular ditched feature is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs close to the brow of the hill southwest of Park Coppice (1). The feature is 44m across and potentially the site of a prehistoric ring ditch; it is perhaps more likely however to be a modern agricultural mark. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
