The possible sites of small scale post medieval extractive pit are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on the southern slopes of Henwood Hill (1-2). They are possibly the sites of natural animal barrows. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
