Full Description
A round mound, 15m across, is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on the northern end of Quarry Hill (1-2). It is potentially the site of a Bronze Age round barrow however it's close proximity to an extensive area of post medieval quarrying (MDO38387) means that a later post medieval date cannot be ruled out. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
