Full Description
A lime kiln is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the south of the A35 at the western end of Chideock village (1). The site of the kiln was identified on aerial photographs as a small mound of spoil or rubble (2). It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. The mound is no longer visible on more recent Google Earth imagery although it may be obscured by vegetation (3).
