Summary

A low linear scarp is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the north of Muddyford Lane, Shedbush Farm. It runs east-west for 90m and is possibly associated with medieval or later quarrying although a natural origin cannot be ruled out. The site has since been levelled. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

A low linear scarp is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the north of Muddyford Lane, Shedbush Farm (1). It runs east-west for 90m and is possibly associated with medieval or later quarrying although a natural origin cannot be ruled out. The site has since been levelled and is no longer visible on Google Earth imagery. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
