Monument record MDO38325 - Historic trackway and field boundaries, Lower Moorbath Farm, Symondsbury

A double ditched trackway and series of parallel field boundaries of medieval or later date are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the southwest of Lower Moorbath Farm. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

A double ditched trackway and series of parallel field boundaries, of medieval or later date, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the southwest of Lower Moorbath Farm (1-3). This is an area marked as Orchard on the OS 1st edition map however an earlier medieval date for the strip fields is possible. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
