Summary

A line of four circular hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the north of Yard Farm. They are 12m across and regularly spaced and are potentially the sites of Second World War bomb craters. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

A line of four circular hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the north of Yard Farm (1-2). They are 12m across and regularly spaced and are potentially the sites of Second World War bomb craters. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. A fifth similar feature lies 580m to the southwest and is described in MDO38278.
