Summary

Bank and ditched field boundaries are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the northwest of Shave Farm. They are associated with a farmstead marked on the OS 1st edition map known as Buckhouse Farm. A slight scarp is visible in the location of the now-levelled farm complex. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

Bank and ditched field boundaries are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the northwest of Shave Farm (1). They are associated with a farmstead marked on the OS 1st edition map known as Buckhouse Farm. A slight scarp is visible in the location of the now-levelled farm complex. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
